How to choose a white-label banking provider: 8 questions to ask
By SendPay Business · · 2 min read
White-label banking providers let you launch a money app under your own brand. They differ a lot in price, features and how much of the regulated side they handle. These questions help you compare them fairly before you commit.
8 questions to ask
- Who holds the licences, and what do I need myself?
- Is the price one-off, monthly, or a share of revenue?
- What are the per-account, per-card and per-transaction costs?
- Which features are included: accounts, cards, transfers, exchange, crypto?
- How much can I change the branding and pages?
- Can I set my own fees?
- Who handles identity checks and customer support?
- What happens to my customers and data if I leave?
Watch for hidden costs
Low headline prices can hide monthly minimums, per-user charges or revenue shares that grow as you grow. Ask for every cost in writing.
Check what is real
Ask to see the product working, not just slides, and check how the provider describes its licensed partners. Be wary of anyone who calls their platform a bank if it isn't one.
How SendPay answers
SendPay platforms are free to design, with a one-off price only when you publish, plus per-card costs after launch and fees you set yourself. Identity checks are built into sign-up, everything runs on licensed partners, and SendPay tells you in writing what applies before you pay.
Build it
Create your own financial platform.
Pick a template, name it, brand it, preview every page before you pay. Your brand, your users, your fees.
