How to write a homepage that gets people to try your money app
By SendPay Business · · 2 min read
Your homepage has one job: help the right person understand your app quickly and feel safe trying it. You don't need clever words. You need clear ones, in the right order.
Start with one clear sentence
The top of the page should say who the app is for and what it does, in words your customers use. If someone reads nothing else, they should still get it.
Show the next step straight away
Put one obvious button near the top, like 'Open an account' or 'Send money now'. One clear action works better than several competing ones.
Answer the worries
Before people sign up they want to know:
- What it costs, with fees shown plainly.
- Who holds their money and who the licensed partner is.
- How to get help if something goes wrong.
Show real people
A photo of the founder, a short story of why you started and, once you have them, real quotes from real customers with permission. Never invent reviews.
Keep it short and fast
Most people visit on a phone. Keep the page quick to load, the text short and the button easy to tap.
Build it
Create your own financial platform.
Pick a template, name it, brand it, preview every page before you pay. Your brand, your users, your fees.
