Merchant cash advance calculator
See what a merchant cash advance really costs: the total you repay from the factor rate, how much comes out of your card takings each day, how long it takes, and the yearly rate it works out to. Free, no sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.
Use the terms in your offer; the starting numbers are only an example. Takings are spread evenly over a 30-day month, and other fees are left out. This is a calculator, not advice.
How the cost is worked out
A merchant cash advance is priced with a factor rate. Multiply the advance by the factor rate to get the total you repay: 10,000 at 1.3 is 13,000. The provider then takes an agreed share of each day's card takings until that total is paid.
Why the yearly rate matters
The faster you repay, the higher the cost works out over a year, because the same fee is paid over less time. Turning the cost into a yearly rate lets you compare an advance with a loan or overdraft. Check your own agreement for the exact terms and any other fees.
