Liquidation price calculator

Use your platform's own maintenance margin rate; the starting figures are only examples. This is a simplified estimate for isolated margin and leaves out fees and funding. This is a calculator, not advice: leveraged trading can lose all the margin you put in.

Why leveraged positions get liquidated

With leverage you put up only part of a position's value as margin. If the price moves against you far enough that your margin falls to the maintenance level, the platform closes the position to stop losses growing past what you put in. The higher the leverage, the smaller the move needed.

Reading the result

At 10x leverage a move of about 10% against you wipes out the margin, so liquidation comes a little before that, once the maintenance margin is reached. This is a simplified estimate for isolated margin: real platforms add trading fees, funding payments and margin tiers, so always check the platform's own figure.
